Land Use Planning

SEIRPC staff provides technical assistance and writing services to communities wishing to establish or update comprehensive plans or portions thereof. These plans are designed to examine and then set goals and objectives for all major elements affecting a community's growth and vitality including land use, housing, transportation, population, education, health care, public infrastructure, etc.

Land Use Administration

SEIRPC furnishes land use administration, (planning & zoning) services to cities or counties within the region. These services are either in the form of actually providing part time, on-site administration personnel or on-call technical assistance for issues dealing with zoning requirements and processes, subdivision review and approvals, building permits, and floodplain regulations.
